It is also more adjustable than its predecessor, having 11 different height settings and legs that retract to installation underneath any bed. Our testers were impressed with the simple access to the side panel that can be flipped up and down with just one push of a button. This was a huge help in feedings at night as it meant that they could easily reach inside and take their baby away without waking them up. The side panel can be removed by itself however, it's not recommended since it increases the risk of your child falling out of the cot. The safety locking system makes sure that the side panel will remain in place if it's connected correctly to the parent's mattress. This is a wonderful feature to have in place for peace of mind, particularly in the case of breastfeeding and frequent nighttime feedings. The Chicco Next2Me Magic is designed to be a perfect fit for any bed, including divan bases and beds with drawers, thanks to the legs that telescopic. It features a tilting feature for reflux babies, and a rocking function to help soothe them to sleep after a feeding. It's also incredibly spacious and provides excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides. The Next2Me Magic was easy to use and set up for our testers, despite the lengthy instruction manual. It's a bit heavier than some of the other side-sleepers, but it's quite portable and can be moved from room to room easily. It's small enough to be able to fit in a travel bag when not in use which is a bonus in the event that you have to transport it. The only drawback our testers noticed was that the side panel did not flex like some of the other models, making it slightly harder to see your baby from your own bed. The Shnuggle Air If you're in search of a crib for your bed that will develop with your child, then the Shnuggle Air is definitely worth looking into. It is designed to be a co-sleeping bassinet that can be attached securely to your bed, but can also transform into a stylish cot once your baby is ready. It's perfect for night-time feeds and growing your bond with your baby. The Shnuggle Air crib is designed to breathe, unlike some other models. Its dual-view mesh side panels and breathable, hypo-allergenic airflow mattress maximize airflow to keep your baby cool and comfortable. A gentle incline option helps to ease colic and reflux, while the zip down side makes it easy to feed or comfort your baby at night. The kit for conversion to cot (sold separately) is also well-designed, with clear instructions and everything you require to start. It took us about an hour to put together and was relatively easy to put together. The only drawback was the lack of captions written on a few images, which made it difficult to follow some of the steps. Overall, the process was easy and the materials used were of top quality.
